What's a rand?

The "rand" is the rubber that wraps around the toe box above the sole. Damage usually occurs at the big toe area and any holes or splits must be repaired. Repair is also recommended for thin wear spots, as a hole is likely to occur before your new sole wears out. I will not do any unnecessary work and will contact you if a rand should be repaired when not specified in your instructions. Please call or email anytime if you have any questions.
